I’ve been working on Volvos for a long time and I think you will find this beats anything out there for a 240 Volvo heater valve. The way the valve itself is designed allows for very fine tuning of the heat, especially at low levels.

Originally I installed this with a separate cable but this kit is configured to use the existing cable and the slide control knob on the console. You will form a loop in the end of the wire that will slip over the post on the heater control lever.

Besides getting a robust heater valve I think you will find it's faster to install compared to anything else out there.

Place some towels under the old valve when you take it out. Follow the illustrated instructions to install.

My name is Svein A. Strande, and I live in Norway. I bought from you, a heater valve, on ebay some months ago. The car that the valve should go into had a regular heater( Not the AC heater). You had not mounted a valve like this on a heater like this before? Well, now it is done. I placed the valve right where the orginal valve had been. I used the orginal hose forward, but replace the hose that you had sent with, with a orginal volvo hose that was abit longer. And then used up again the plastic pipe to get the hoses together. The wire and everything work out perfectly!!
So now you can say that it can be mounted in any volvo 240...regardless of which heater that stand there.
If one of my other volvo 240's valve does not work anymore, I will get one from you.
